Key Info:

Abstaining from leavened bread is meant to be a learning opportunity for followers of Yahusha. In Mattithyahu 16:6, Yahusha cautioned his disciples to be wary of the teachings of the Pharisees and Sadducees, comparing them to leaven. Despite this, the disciples initially misunderstood his message, thinking only of literal bread. It is important for us not to solely focus on the physical act of removing leaven from our homes, but to also consider the deeper meaning behind it. Yahusha clarified that the "leaven" to be vigilant against was false teaching (Mattithyahu 16:12).
